Sensor Reads Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low Input

Lately my check engine light has been flashing. Had it checked today and sensor reading was: P0122. What is Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor? Is this a serious defect? Is it expensive to correct?

Not sure what year your jeep is but it sounds like you need to replace your throttle position sensor. Again not sure what jeep you have but, it will be loacated on you throttle body on the opposite side of where the throttle cable connects to the buttefly valve steam.
