Okay... so I was an idiot and when I painted my grill, I lost 3the of the screws. So today I went to the hardware store to get new ones.... but the only screw I had left fell out if ny pocket

Where can I get replacement screws or what info can I give the guy at the hardware store to get ones that would work????????

Any interior body panel screw should work fine...just try it out before you leave the parking lot!!

I replaced one of those screws this weekend. They are the same as the interior screws.

The PO replaced one of the original screws with a flathead screw. It worked just fine, but I had to grab a different screwdriver. You just need a screw with roughly the same shank size.

You know what, you're right that body screws won't work. It looks like I used a 4.8mm panhead screw. Make sure you get a set with some that are about 3/4" long. Most of the body screws seem to be 4.2mm.

Yes, that will work. The are called panhead (not pinhead) which probably has some old meaning. They are basically rouned on the head, and flat where they come flush with the grill. Anyway, I've also discovered that I've been using the wrong screws to tighten many of my panels. DOH! Its not a big deal, but a little funny that I never noticed before.
