Rust On My JGC. Help

My 04 JGC has some small rust spots right near the headlights where they curve. It happen when using a scewdriver to take the headlights off. What can i do to take the rust off and put factory paint on? Can i like sand it down then buy the bush factory paint at autozone and bush it on or what. Thanks so much.

You can buy sandpaper anywhere, and buy the maching paint at the dealer. If it is just a small amount (like a rockchip) I use a rotary tool with a fine grit stone. Get down to shiny metal, then touch it up with 3-5 coats of mopar matching paint.

If you want a PERFECT match, you can wet sand and buff.

But... You shouldn't call you Jeep a Jeep without some scars.

Yep, a little bit of careful sanding and some touch up paint and you're good to go.
