running an ipod cable from back of cd player down to glovebox.
Can someone please tell me the easiest way to run an ipod cable from the back of my alpine cd player to the glovebox where it would obviously connect to my ipod.

im guessin you have a 99 judging by you SN...what i did as a temporary solution is ran it along the front side of the air conditioning vent like to the farthest right (if that makes sense) and into the glove...its concealed and you cant see it in the air conditioning vent unless you look for it

installing..
I would put it in the glove box because when it is hooked up to the stereo its not like you can control the songs through it or anything, so i'd just run it up into the dash.. Is there not a little bit of an opening to have it come in from the top of the left side of the glove box? Sometimes you have to drill a hole big enough to slide it in through. (if you do have to drill, make sure you slide it in backwards, starting from the glove box and going to the radio. Most of the times it is just a small round plug instead of the very wide ipod plug.) Hope that helps out!

cant when plugged in..
If you have an aftermarket stereo and have it plugged in via iPod interface cable, it usually makes the screen say "ALPINE" or "PIONEER" whatever the company, and you can't navigate through the menu's and such.. I could be wrong.. But if that is the case, then it would be better to have it in the glovebox since you can't use it while plugged in anyways. Plus, its better for security because if you leave it in the car while you run in somewhere, it is out of the way and no one knows that you have an ipod in there.. just a tip! Later
