Roller rockers in a 318?

Have any of you put roller rockers in the 318?

Just wondering what kind of benifits I'd gain.

Thanks,

jack

You will gain a maybe 3-5hp in swapping all 16 rocker arms to roller rockers keeping the same ratio. I haven't even seen any rockers for the magnum pedestal stud mounted arms cylinder heads. Where have you seen the roller rock arms?

I saw them on ebay, crane make a set as well, but you have to change everything from the lifters up including the valve covers.

My valve covers are starting to leak and since I was going to remove them to get the gasket changed, I was thinking about putting some 1.6 rollers in. If it was worth it....

If you're swapping in the 1.6's then you should see a bigger increase than just 3-5hp, maybe in the neighbourhood of 15hp. It's all guesses unless you dyno it.
