Roller Rocker Problem

I have a 93 Grand Cherokee with a 5.2. I have been running a Hughes Engines reground cam with 1.6 roller rockers for a few months. I decided to switch back to a Comp Cam and while pulling everything apart I noticed some rollers grinding into the side of the rocker.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? Here is a picture of what I'm talking about.

No click for you.

I don't know what could cause that. Is it just that one, or multiple ones?

9 out of the 16. Not all of them are as bad as this one either.

No idea on this one. You've probably already done all this, but...

I'd check the pushrod sides and balls, and guideplates and see if anything looks excessively worn. Look at the top of the valves and make sure they are flat and smooth. Bolt the worst and best rockers back in and check for proper geometry, alignment and slop. Compare the two. Something must be different.
