Rocky Road Suspension

I am thinking of getting a suspension and I came across how rocky road does there. useing the stock front spring and putting them in the back and having new ones in the front. my question is what is the down fall of this and what is the problem of doing this method. and my other question if you were to get a new lift with all new components could you down the road use this method to get a bigger lift. thanks

run away from rocky road, horrible customer service and they are filth to the industry, the images on their page are pirated from other websites and generally arent even near their lift they are advertising.

Look up the F>R swap in the FAQ, tells you all about that style setup which is common, Iron Roc Offroad does it this way

You can however to the F-->R lift with RE front springs and order your parts from vendors here on JF. READ THE FAQ!

Sounds like you are already aware of WHAT the F->R is, you would just like some advice as to HOW your Jeep is going to ride afterwards. If you by any means think it will ride like it does before the lift, you are in for a suprise. If you really want to change the ride quality, get a new set of sprigns (F&R) and a good set of monotube shocks.

You wont live long enough for them to get it right after they screw something up; and they will. Oh yes...they will.

dont bother with rocky road... their kit would be a great most likely if you wanted to do a F>R swap but you wouldnt get the kit any time soon... plus they dont have a great customer service... just save yourself and get like a kit from IRO...

The F-->R Swap is worth it if you are looking for a cheaper lift.

not sure what it would do to the ride quality? Probably less money though.

Sorry about all the cranks about Rocky Road; a lot of us here have had significant issues with them and I think when someone brings them up we all tend to jump to try and prevent the suffering and pain associated with dealing with them.
