that looks like your running off your battery turn off all your radios lights vents see if it rise's if it does Sounds like bad alt. If the alt is working right ive NEVER seen my volt meter swing or get that low even with everything on max. including all headlights and my kc's

I'm guessing alternator... I've barely dropped below 14V with a 3000watt stereo system, and 4 sets of HID's Running.

Is that running or just with the engine off and the key in the on position? Your battery should be putting out just above 12V, so that would be about correct. When engine turns on the meter reads alternator output not battery voltage and should be around 14V with the engine running.

I think the old "take the neg cable off the battery and see if it still runs" will work on the GC. Try that. If it still is running then you got a good alt.

The battery gauge is actually an alternator output gauge when the vehicle is running. If it only shows 10 volts, then your alternator is not putting out enough power.

Right. When the vehicle is not running, it does shows the battery power. But when the vehicle is running, your battery really isn't doing anything at all. Everything is powered by the alternator.
