Trimming the fenders doesn't un-overland it.

And yes, TnT does make a long arm kit. It's not listed on their site, you have to call and ask about it.

josh, i didnt take out a $10k loan, its a $7k loan. Price after trade, tax and license. I'm not cheaping out on anything. I'd just rather lift it by the end of the summer than wait until two years down the road.

well i pieced a kit together using tereflex springs, zone shocks, and iro a-arm spacer, rear endlinks, and front track bar. I'm at $616 before shipping. Here is a question. How important is the front rear control arms on a wj at 4"? The IRO basic 4" kit doesn't come with them so.....can i use stock arms?

How do you expect to adjust your pinion angles with that set-up? At 4", you simply cannot run stock fixed arms without handling/angle issues. What are you doing for your front swaybar links? Bumpstop extensions (or are they "built in" on the shocks)?

Heck, I dont know, i was just curious dude. I was piecing together to match the zone kit (though I didn't include the arms) Its still going to be the same price, if not more to piece together my own kit, even with those teraflex springs so cheap. Zone still seems to be the best way to go, however that rough country lift is pretty awesome for the price! Plus better shocks than the zone...hmmm. I dont need the pitman arm though, but I can always sell that.

I think that usually our first impulse is the best. Second guessing yourself is crazy, and with technical things like this you'll drive yourself mad. If you want to try the Zone kit and can get a deal with Ridin', then why not just make up your mind? I know half the fun is in the research, but at some point you'll snap. No snapping now...ginger.

the ginger is going to go with the most complete lift for the least price. Its between the RC and Zone lift. If Gabe gets me a deal, its a no brainer, but the RC lift being cheaper initially, on sale, with better shocks, makes sense. Plus that gives me more money to regear. I've got a long time to decide between the two and its still up in the air when i'll be able too. I'm just getting familiar with WJ's

"the ginger"? You're now referring to yourself in the third person? geez. Didn't think this thread could get much worse.

Not to be an a**, but have you searched this topic at all? To [properly] lift a WJ is more difficult than most vehicles, especially once you hit the 4" mark. Do it right the first time, or you will regret it. Simply buying the cheapest 4" kit is the wrong way to go.

And you don't need to regear even with 33's with the 4.7L HO, so use that money on quality suspension components.
