I've read that thread. My thought was if I bought it through a local dealer, They could help me out if I did have an issue.

Skip the headache and ask if they have any JKS track bars in stock when/if you pick the kit up

The OP of that thread also said that the person he spoke to at Zone told him they were working on a track bar re-design. It's possible the issue has been fixed, I would start by asking Zone about it and see if it's changed before I wrote them off completely.

True, the TB pic on mallcrawlin seemed very, very thin compared to the JKS I have. If the thickness was increased I could see it holding up well.

So at least we know what isn't included in Lou's pile-o-parts. No lift. I'm still curious what there is though.

I know you are wanting some height and all, but I can't get over the praise Kolak has over the OME with MX6 shocks. I think OME's is a 3" lift for the WJ. I know that's not as high as you're aiming for though, certainly not with Lou helping you. 33's wouldn't fit either. I'd say save the wheels for me when you switch, but they wouldn't fit my ZJ. You're changing them, aren't you? I like the chrome, but I prefer the Freedom's gunmetal wheels.

Haley, i just responded to your pm. And for those of you who are skeptical about the lift because on ONE bent trackbar then you need to rethink it. Ive had the zone kit for a little while now and im very happy with it. Its more complete than the IRO kit and is cheaper, seems like a no brainer to me. I didnt get the front swaybar end links and i havent had any problems whatsoever but getting them wouldnt be a bad idea.

p.s. i measured the zone trackbar and compared it to the jks one and its THE SAME THING! haha

They must have redesigned them then because the TB in the pic on MC looks like 1/2 the diameter of the JKS track bar. If the new trackbars from zone are beefy, I would pick the zone over the IRO kit any day of the week.

if i remember correctly, its about 1 1/4, possibly 1 1/8. that things is pretty solid. and if it breaks and i have to buy a new tb i would just break even with an IRO kit cost wise. parts wise, i would still be ahead with the a-arm spacer

Zone control arms have poly bushings, not rubber = . That's reason enough to avoid the kit. At 4" on short arms, every little bit helps in terms of ride quality. But, if you prefer increased road noise & vibrations, then go for it!

The problem that we found with the Zone lift is that it exagerates the factory rake.
