Replacing TRE's

Im noticing my bushing are pretty much all ripped and cracked so im just going to replace them.

I can't seem to find the right one to replace the TRE that's connected to the middle of the drag link before the steering stabilizer, not the one for the pitman arm.


In this photo its the one the drag link arror is one with the castle nut.

Your description is kind of confusing. In the picture, the drag link is highlighted in blue. It is 3 separate pieces, from left to right as shown in the picture: Front Right Outer Tie Rod End (DS1311), Adjusting Sleeve (ES2079S), Front Right Inner Tie Rod End (ES3096L, this tie rod end connects to the pitman arm). The part numbers in the parentheses are for Moog replacement parts. Does this help?

Okay now that im not on my phone I can see better, I was way off. Its the tie rod end on the left side of the yellow tie rod on the picture.

I always get the inner and outer tie rod ends confused, and I'm not sure which one that is, so I don't want to suggest one for you. Hopefully someone else will chime in, or you might be able to find some information using google. Searching on google and then adding "site:jeepforum.com" at the end is a handy tool.

EDIT: Just to be clear, are you replacing only the bushings or the entire tie rod end?

Was gonna try and replace just the bushing, but im pretty sure the actual joint inside is worn out. So probably just gonna replace whole thing.

Its probably easier to replace all your trees at the same time. Save the hassle down the road

It doesn't include the longer TRE that connects to the steering stabilizer as well. I hope that you are satisfied with the quality of those TRE's, I've heard mixed things about eBay brands, which is why I recommended the Moog parts.

So what three tie rods did I get, which one on the picture I posted do I not receive.
