replacing the stock speakers

with out tearing out the pannels in my '93 does any one know what size speakers i have in both the front and rear door and i have also heard rumors the there are mounting brackets in the rear lift gate for speakers is there any truth to this myth and what would fit in there.

I think that the 93-98 ZJ had 6.75 (oversized 6.5s) in the doors. I was able to replace all the door speakers with 6.5s, no problem. You may also have tweeters in the dash.

Anyone else?

i have a 93 zj and i put 6.5 inch infinity speakers in the back and the front and they sound phenomenal

yes 6 1/2 and 6 3/4 both fit. you may want to dynomat if you get more watts.
