Replacing the front drive shaft (CV) to a U-joint style shaft?

I'm assuming this is a very common ZJ mod, considering the stock CV joint has failed on my buddies 96 ZJ all three times we've wheel'd it. But I didn't see anything in the FAQ, so I made this thread.

What I need to know is for 1) is it possible? 2) what parts do we need if it is? and... 3) will it somehow hurt the viscous diff in the transfer case?

Thanks!
Bryson

Build a Trubo for my 4.7L and I will tell you...

kidding... all you need a u-jointed ZJ shaft (salavge yard) and the matching axel and TC yokes.
