Replacement Serpentine Belt for 5.2 WITHOUT AC
I have a 93 ZJ with a 318 in it and the bearing along with clutch in the AC pump just went out but all of the components are bad as far as the AC goes. I just want to take everything out and replace the belt with a shorter one that will work.
Does anyone know of any?
Thanks

wrap a string around all the pulleys and mark the length. Then take it to the parts store and get a 6 or 7 ribbed belt slightly shorter to account for the tensioning pulley being untensioned

And if I don't get around to replacing the hoses on my A/C system this summer, that's what I'll be doing to mine as well. If I do get the hoses and get the A/C fixed, I'm going to rig a secondary A/C compressor by the power steering and move the stock air intake elsewhere.
Either way, I will be installing onboard air this year!!

I actually cut the old belt and used that as a string and it measured 84" so I bought an 83 (so the tensioner would have pull). It worked out great... cept now I think the Fuel pump is just about dead...
Carter replacement pump is $330... Anyone know of a replacement that has the same wiring harness and fits in the tank?

thanks man, I am going to get it through here then. Just checking the rest of the sensors first before I drop too much money. The problem is that right now there is no problem and today it is working just fine... I am still oging to leave it in the driveway because I dont want it to die somewhere else
