i just trew mine in the oven for about 5 minutes and it fixed it

not sure how i missed this before. i replaced my switch about a year ago with one from the junkyard....that just the other day began to act up. i will definatly use this write up for my repair...great info. thanks

would this fix my dim lights? mine don't flicker they just stay dim all the time, i replaced every bulb, it's just the slider that's screwed.

Enjoyed the write up. Not sure tho if this describes the issue I'm having. On my 93 I always use the "auto" on the headlights and they always stay on at night, but there are also times when they come on during the middle of a sunny day. Biggest issue is that I can't see my VIC, overhead computer or radio face do to the dimness of the lights (night mode). Thanks for any input.

Will this work for faulty fog lights? My instrument clusters do dim, but also occasionally when hitting a bump my fog lights will turn off.
