REC Navigation

I just installed a REC navigation system in my 05 Grand Cherokee. It works great EXCEPT the voice commands are really distorted and are totally unclear. Anyone know the problem or solution???

That looks like a sweet nav system. Wish it worked in the WJ. Although the RB1 is just fine for me. Anyway, I read up on it here: http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_nav.htm

And I'd suggest bringing it to the dealer to get fixed or replaced. Isn't it still under warranty or you worried that because you installed they wont cover? Take it to another dealer.

i bought the unit off of Ebay which is why I don't think I will get much dealer help.

Whether you bought it off ebay or an online Jeep Parts Store or Dealership...dont think it will matter. Bring it in and say it dont work and it should be covered under warranty.

Of course...just say it came with it installed already.
