Rearend question

Looking for a company out there that sells a kit, ( brackets, perches, shock mounts Etc. ) to install a late 80's Dana 44 out of an XJ into a 95 ZJ.
Any help or suggestions would be great.

Not to veer off the subject but have you looked into an 8.8? Is there a specific reason your using that 44?

Ya I have one of the rare D44's with all iron no aluminum with the same 4.56 gears that match my front Dana HP30 and the 44 has a LSD already installed. Eventually I would like to install an 8.8 but since I already have the 44 and a friend that can weld all the hardware it fits my budget..

Nice dude. Id rock it too if that was the case. Check out Artec industries. Its in my sig. Thats where I got my 8'er truss. They may have one for your 44 too

One very important question I forgot to ask is the dana i want to swap has drum brakes, and of course i want to keep my disks. Is this gonna be another complicated task or is it something that can be done at home??

Just Google XJ D44 disk brake conversion, there's easily 10+ pages of different ways to do this out of a JY.
