Rear RE 3.5" coils installed

Measuring 21.25" from wheel center to fender with a 31" spare in the back and a half tank of gas. Otherwise unladen. So 3 1/4" out of the box. Probably the tow hitch, skid plates and rock sliders account for that.

Added 270 lbs of olympic plates to the rear cargo area. I carry a lot of gear and I wanted to simulate that. I Measured 20.25" now. Added a 3/4" spacer, so I am right at 3" now with 3.5" coils and a 3/4" spacer. Things are not always as they appear...lol. Should have done the 4.5" coils.

Made some measurements with no shocks installed at ride height.
Shock center to shock center = 20.6"
Bottom of bumpstop to axle = 4"

Bilstein 24-186223 for 3-4" lift
Extended = 24.6"
Compressed = 15.5"
Travel = 9.1"

So around 4.5" of the shock rod exposed would be ideal, putting the shock in the sweet spot. What I should get with the 270 lbs in the rear:
24.6 - 20.6 = 4"
Pretty close, removing 60 lbs or so from the rear should make the shocks and the lift a match made in heaven.

Pretty sure I am going to need a bit more bumpstop since the shock compressed length is 15.5". But I will measure when the shocks get installed. There is already an extra 1.5" of bumpstop. I'm hoping I won't need much more since bumpstop kills uptravel.

Removed the rear trackbar and will be installing the JKS adjustable. Struggled removing the Torx bolts. Satan himself must have invented Torx. Heading to the hardware store to get 'standard' replacements lol.
