rear bumper

What is the right way to take out the black plastic rivets on the inner wheel well that hold the rear bumper fascia on? I could take them off if I didn't care about using again, but I'd like to know the non-breaking way. thanks

i nice trick is to use a pair of scissors..not to cut them but they are thin enought to squeeze behind and leverage them out, a thin needle nose works well.. the key is not to put to much pressure on one side but try to pull straight.... but seriously go to the auto store and pick up new ones for $3 cuase no matter what you are going break some/step on some..

A wonder bar (tiny pry bar) works pretty good to get them off.

I use a "door trim" tool. It will fit in between the two pieces and then allow you to pry the top one out and away to release the whole piece. My wheel well ones (98ZJ and 95ZJ) have a plastic phillips head screw the will back out as you turn is slowly. Then the whole thing pops out.
