How would U normally replace the bump stop ? Stock,no lift
Right side is gone but I don't see how to get the cup thing off.
In the pic, does this look right or is something missing besides the rubber ???

That's what I was thinking, they might snap.Rusty
I wasn't sure those were even bolts.
After pic soaked every thing down with ATF mix.but that's no guarantee they wont snap
Got new shocks to put on but also need to fix this.
I will dig the crap out in there so I can see
What holds the rubber in ??

Contact kolak, he set me up with extended ones when I was ordering parts for my lift, I'm sure that he can furnish stock length ones for you.

Bit more expensive then the spacer that rubicon express does, but my cup looks exactly like yours so I don't think removal is possible without redoing the nutsert.

Yea, if you yank the other one you'll see how it fits in. The cup has metal tangs that grab the bump stop and lock it in place, the bump stop has little holes (indents) on the bottom where the bolt heads stick out. (I don't advise you to yank the other one before you're changing it though. it might be a good idea to hit the mounts with a wire brush though to clean them up before you stick new bump stops in.

Calm. C.

If a week goes by without needing to replace something, pinch me because I must be dreaming.
