Im in the process of swapping out my rear axle (44a) for an identical one and I'm replacing the track bar while i'm at it and i was curious: at roughly 4.5" of lift should i keep my rear track bar relocation bracket or use the factory mount?
I have run a JKS for 5 years now and it's tight as ever .
Frame brackets for the rear track bar are a huge no no IMO . Axle side brackets I like better and utilize a bracket and JKS bar on my 7.5" lifted Orvis . I have tried with and without . With gives better road manners as it keeps the bar more level . I cruise my ZJ at 80-85 mph regularly . BTW , I used this set up at 4.5" lift too and loved it . I would recommend welding the bracket as I have seen the occasional bracket fail . I have no welds but no issues either .
Comparing prices to JKS it's $50 more and I bet Kolak widens that margain even more .
JKS FTW
