I went from stalling and losing power at hwy speeds and occasional stoplights to not cranking at all. Now that the cranking problem is fixed, wonder..was that sensor the root of my problem after all?? Guess i wont know till i drive it, huh?

Sounds good. Still, you will be nervous for a week ... waiting for that symptom to reappear. Then after the week is done and the Jeep still runs fine, you will feel like a champion!

Good deal 2tall2slow, sounds like you've accomplished a lot lately, and hope it's fixed for good!

Dont break out the champagne and party hats until you've driven it for three days.

glad it's rolling again

Drove great last night, strong this morning. I'm just happy to hear it run again.

Havent been on here in a few days, but news is good news. few days ago after replacing the crankshaft sensor on my '98 Laredo, its running strong. so far it not only cranks right up, but no stalls and no hesitation. driving it everyday. took the family to an overnight trip to the lake and back and no problems. dellis, the knots in my stomach are loosening and I feel like a champion. thanks again guys for all the help! if and when I ever have another problem, and surely there will be more, I know where to come for advice and the confidence to do my next repair myself, thanks!
