RE 2" budget boost

I just received my 2" budget boost from Rubicon Express. Going to install it tomorrow. Just wanted to go with 2" until I wear out these tires and then I will go bigger with bigger meats.

Has anyone had problems with DW after a 2" lift. I am going hunting tomorrow night and won't have time to test out the lift before going.

YES!!!! you will have DW and your front tire will fly off and hit a cat on the side of the road..the family will then sue you for killing their "family member" and you will REGRET putting in the BB......

other than that you should be fine...but all GC's are not the same and you may or may not get DW.
good luck

This is what i was afraid of. As long as it is only one front tire, I should be fine ....right?

you can get DW at any time. man lifted rigs seem to get it as it can change the steering geometry but it is different in every situation. i had a slight shudder when i was stock that i ignored and now that im lifted i can tell i have it but it isnt enough for me to worry about. ust a slight shudder around 45 but who drives 4 anway? lol

but you will not like the lift cus it will make you want to spend more money to go even bigger lol.

Sorry to hear. The RE kit is a nice BB kit, but expensive. For ~$150 more you could have had a nice 3" iro kit. Just my opinion.

You need to get an alignment done once you finish putting on the lift. I doubt you have death wobble but it is a possibility.

I looked into this and it was almost twice as much as the RE kit. Anything coming across the border is ridiculously expensive. This was here and I got a good deal.

My next will be a 4.5" kit.

Those might be bump stops but I can't tell from that angle. Maybe someone else can. The kit not come with instructions?

Ya that is what I was thinking but I guess if you pay 370, they have to throw stuff in there.

I think vendors on the forum are selling this same kit for $200.00. The RE SF 8000 4.5" kit that I run was just a little above $1,000 before the price increase.

I paid a little more than that, again duty, taxes, blah blah blah.....

I think the metal tubes are shock sleeves, but still dont know what the 20 rubber things are. Anybody done control arm bushings?? Is this what they look like?
