RB1 Wiring Harness (82207541) Installation

I have a '99 WJ so need to use the wiring harness adapter to install the 22 pin stereo to my Jeep.



I decided to go the cheap route and got the harness that I have to splice myself (9.99 vs 89.99).

Now, I removed my stereo once to install my iPod adapter and I don't remember 2 plugs being in there. Are there 2 plugs that need to be spliced together? I obviously will find out soon enough, but thought I'd ask if anyone has done this before.

Also, I noticed the 22 pin side has about 2 wires for each color. Do the 2 whites attach to the ONE white on the old 7-pin side?

My biggest mechanical weakness is wiring and electricity.

yes there are the same two plugs in all chrysler products one has power and the other is mostly speaker wire though if i remember correctly the one with the power also has one or two spkr wires.

Even with the Infinity Gold? I thought the speakers were run from the amp.
