So I'm back to my build after my jeep not running for a week. The engine hydrolocked, but everything's good now after a new starter, new spark plugs, new oil and filter, new transmission fluid and filter, new air filter, and an evap canister that I swiped from the jy (relocated to the engine compartment out of harms way. I was running without one for a while haha). Thankfully it runs better than ever . I don't plan on doing any deep mud or water crossings any time soon though! Oh and I slapped on a silver grill from the jy that looks pretty good, and I also got a ps pump which I need to install in place of my leaky one.

Today I finished installing my Artec Industries HD LCA brackets on my dana 30. They are about 3 times as thick as the factory ones, so no more bent and mangled LCA brackets! The install went well and the welds turned out good. My practice paid off! And I was able to use a $4200 Snap-on power mig, so that helped a little haha. I did paint these with a black acrylic so they don't rust, but they're raw in the photos.

All ready for the big adventure . Up I'm The Cove in Gore VA (yes I have cell phone service and I'm on jeep forum haha. We just got back from a night run with a Tacoma. The jeep crawled great over some decent sized boulders and even up a mini waterfall.

My second LED bar came in today. I made some use of those nice mounting tabs on the ARB!! I was able to wire them straight to factory plugs for the fog lights, so now I get two high-intensity off road lights by a simple click of the fog light button... with no wires sprawling all across the engine bay. Woohoo! can't wait until it gets darker so I can see how bright these babies really are!! I can post pics of the wiring if anyone's interested... I just made a makeshift harness by attaching a female connecter to each side of a short piece of copper wire, one for negative, one for positive.

Hey man, Jeep looks good. Did you ever get that front bumper sold on craigslist? Wanted to jump on it but I'm a little low cash. Saw it on there. I'm down in Colonial Heights, VA.

Thanks. No I don't have the bumper anymore, sorry. I only got lowball offers, so I ended up trading it for a 12 gauge and a center console
