Radio antenna wire bad?

So the stock radio didn't work, installed an aftermarket and when I plug the antenna in its still busted. I can only assume the wire is busted somewhere?

I got the end unattached from the fender but I can't seem to get it to go any further, feels like some other connector or something before it goes into the body of the truck? Can't see without removing fender, which I'd like to avoid.

Any tips?

Remove the fender or route the new cable a different way. I had the same issues and really didn't want to remove the fender but in the end it is easier.

Thanks, it ended up being a connection in the 2 part antenna wire that was right by the passanger side kick panel. Eash fix, then the truck stopped starting lol. Never ends.
