Radiator Drain Plug Going Bad?
Anyone ever have a problem with the radiator drain plug going bad?
In the last two weeks I've been getting a leak of coolant from the lower passenger side of my radiator. Nothing alarming but enough to be annoying. I first thought it was coolant from my coolant reservoir (samll crack near cap) making its way down there and onto the ground. However this mornign when it happen and I checked everything over the reservoir was dry on top and I had the leak. From what I can see from the top of the engine bay it appears to be leaking at the drain plug at the lower corner. These things tend to go bad over time from the heat? Or might it be a different problem? I guess I need to pull off the fan shroud this weekend to get a good look at the back of the radiator.

If it's the drain plug. Start the jeep and take a look occasionally you will see it come out the whole. the part is 8.00 from the dealer, 2.00 from a parts place when they have them. Might as well flush it when you replace it.
