quick VIC reflowing question

what wattage do yall use on a soldering iron for the VIC circuit boards? 15w for the majority, 30w for the thickest ones? I forsee a little downtime with all the rain that I might be able to dig into it, and I'd like to have a functional unit, if nothing else, to put in for when I DD other vehicles and the fam takes the zj out.
I have black almost burn like marks inside the glass screen area so I'm hoping that's not a problem point as well...

I did all of mine with a 12W. As long as you keep the tip properly tinned and clean that should be all you need. At least that's all I needed. I do have a 45W iron and a 100W/140W gun too though.

My VIC had the same black marks and it didn't matter at all in the end.
