Have any of you NY bumperless jeepers had any problems with the police about not having your bumper on? I got pulled over today for no front bumper, and i never realized it was an issue. Luckily, the guy was a really cool guy, told me that the jeep was looking good, and then let me go, but i would like to know for future knowledge.

Maybe he just needed an excuse to get a closer look... lol

... Don't know what they mean by "check front end assembly." Sounds like 'you need a bumper.'....

but then again, i wanted to pull the bumper off my Fiat and specifically asked the guy if that was cool (I'm from Va, BTW), and he said that, according to his procedures, it was okay, meaning there was nothing stating it HAD to be there. I figure it'd make you a cop magnet not having one though.



My advice is that you pack up and move to florida, where no one cares about anything.
