Question about shocks

'98 ZJ 4.0 no lift

Any suggestions on shocks? I was looking at rockauto, but not sure what the best option would be. I believe I still have the original shocks.. So they need updated soon.

No lift, are you planning to keep it that way? If so, go get you some Monroe Sensa-Tracs and be done. 50,000 mile warranty (which is what they mean when they say lifetime). Replace at 45,000. Never had anyone ask any questions about it.

I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on no-lift replacement shocks as well. Might be a good idea to start a poll...

Cheap Monroes will be fine. Rides like oem, but a bit too mushy for me. Got a little rusty and only 5 months old.

I just got a Hella deal on a 96 with 120000 on the clock for $300 .... all it needs was shocks so I put a set of Napa shocks on it and it was under $100 and it rides really good now

O lol a little old lady owned it and her husband passed away and she said it was just sitting . He got it brand new and I have all the maintenance record as well . She was asking 500 I gave her 500 and told my girlfriend to stop at Napa to get shocks and the old lady handed me back 200 . I insisted I didn't need that back and told her I felt as I was ripping her off but she wouldn't take no for an answer
