Quadra trac reliability?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a '94 GC w/ the 5.2/Quadratrac w/ 120K. From what I know the Chrysler 5.2 is a pretty reliable engine, but I'm not sure about the Quadra trac. How many miles can I expect from this tranny? The tranny drives fine now. As soon as I get it I'm going to change all fluids and the chain. And what's the first thing to go on this tranny? Anything else to watch out for on this model year?

Got a 96 (same set up). Advice: Change oils, don't mess with the rest if it functions OK. My old Jeep has run for 200K with no tranny problems. First thing to fail will probably be the VC. Or do any other have better suggestions?

Other than normal maintenance, the biggest thing to be concerned with would be the VC. Keep the tires rotated and a the same preasure on a regular basis. This should help it last longer.

You dont have to worry bout the tranny; it's almost bulletproof. I've found either the VC or the 249 chain tends to go.

I have the same jeep. I got 124,000 on it and it's still going strong The only thing that went out was the Transfer case witch was at 80,000.
