Projector retrofit question.

Just curious if you guys have had any experience doing a projector retrofit. I saw somebody on here with a cool retrofit, does anyone think these would fit?

Looks like you lose high beams with those (might cause you to fail inspection if your state has them). I also think they would require a good amount of fab to get them to mount due to the stupid system the zj uses. You could go with these, although considerably more expensive than what you posted. With the exception of some minor defects and a lack of customer support, they are pretty nice and are worlds beyond stock lighting.

Yeah those were the ones I was going to order I was just curious about the "retrofit" that some have done. What are the second bulbs for in there ? Highbeams? are they H1 or H4 bulbs that go in there.

Get clear housings from fleabay, open them up, install "no mod" bixenon retrofit kit from the retrofit source. Profit.

Real e-codes are glass. Ebay housings are plastic.

I have some nice Bosch 9006 socket projectors i could sell you if you are interested. I have done all measurements and they will fit in the ZJ housings, Not going to be as easy as the aforementioned "no mod" kit, but its not going to cost $300 either. PM me if interested.
