I have a 97 limited and there are buttons for the power seats to adjust automatically. How do I program them? Also every time I use the key fob the mirrors and seat moves how do I program this? thanks in advanced.

Thats all part of the set seating, I'll confirm when I can get my book out of the truck (I'm at work) but I believe you hold set until set lights up on the info center, set the poisons of seat, mirrors, and preset stations of radio (if stock) then push one of the set buttons to store all of this.

I was reading at some point (a thread is on this forum) that if the mirrors and seats are not holding their settings, sometimes it's a result of dirt getting in behind the outside driver's mirror. Something to do with the electrical connection not being solid. Fubars the system up...
Don't fear the regear.

Finished 4x2 --> 4x4 conversion.

look at the driver's door. there's a panel that has a 1, 2, and set button.
look at the back of your fob for the number it is set to.
set your seat and mirrors to where you want them. hold the set button till blinking. then press the button that corresponds to the fob you're using.

the mirrors not holding their settings is the sensor. the memory module breaking power is the only reason the seats would revert to home position when the fob is pushed. unless it's reverting to the other set point that the fob doesn't do.
'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
