Production numbers

A while back (actually, when I bought the Woody) I put a question up here about how to find production numbers. Nobody offered me any in that thread, so I thought I would share this since I just stumbled on it:
http://www.jeep.com/en/experience/legacy/index.html

It's the Heritage link on the Jeep website. It gives production numbers.

Just FYI: There were 1,251,473 ZJ's built. Of that, only 6378 were Grand Wagoneers. I know some of you with the Woodies peeled the wood grain off. Kind of a shame, since they represent only .5% of the total production.
But, I support making your rig your own.

I didnt take the wood off! the used dealership had it taken off, and I bought it that way! It wasnt my choice! But I like it!

I have seen a few ZJs with strange cladding recently, it is a strip about 6" tall that is centerd about half way up the door, I have only seen 3 of them. One being in "I am legend" at the begining. Its an odd cladding but I love it!

Wow, that's an awesome find. I always wanted to know how many Waggy ZJs were built. Thanks for the find. Makes me even more happy to have mine.

And to keep on making this thread awesome, he is my Waggy.

1993-1995 "Base" model. It was the cheapest model you could get.

Those look great in silver. Especially with the rims and sliders. Fort Collins, I remember seeing yours before too. Too bad the stealership de-woodied it, but it still looks unique.
There's one of those base models around my town. I parked next to it once, and was interested to note that it was one of the 5 speed ZJ's.
I forgot to post a pic of the woody in the original post:

Anyone have a picture of one of these base models? I've heard of them but I've never seen one.

Still looking for pictures of these base models. Haven't seen Legend yet but I plan to.

Also - ever heard of or seen two piece consoles on ZJs?

Appears to be the base style cladding, would be interesting to see some interior pics.

Troublemaker, thanks for posting this. Those are the best pics I've seen of a base model so far, in fact the pix are hard to come by.

There's two Base ZJ pics in this thread below: One is Jeepnurse's and in fact he was under the impression it was a Laredo until we ran the VIN through a site that breaks down the numbers. The other pic is a not very clear still from the movie "Twelve Monkeys" (with Willis/Pitt from 96')
Pretty funny. I sat down to watch TV after writing in that thread and lo and behold they drive off in a base ZJ!
There is also a picture of a ZG with crank up windows and a two piece center console. Not sure if that is a Base model or if ZGs had their own trim levels.
