Power Window Switch

I just bought an 04 Jeep Cherokee with 53,000 mi. I have searched all day to find my problem seems very common but has yet to be described like the very one I am having. First of all before i won it (at an auction) I checked the windows and buttons, everything was fine. And just my luck as i was driving away I noticed the windows didn't work in the whole vehicle and the power mirrors don't either from either switch. Now the pwr locks work on the passenger and rear doors but that is it. I checked fuses in and under hood and removed the door panel to check for loose connections all was fine.

Does this sound like the main power window/lock switch or is this an actuator problem?

I have a WJ in my shop right now that is doing the same exact thing... I have tested a bunch of things, and it seems that the window switch itself is bad. I have heard of the orange/white wire in the door boot breaking in these vehicles, but in this particular vehicle, it is in tact. Let me know what your remedy is when you figure it out!
