power lock question

So I was doing so research and seem that the power doors will not work without the door chime mine has been gone since I bought the jeep don't know why. Would I be easier to just replace the chime or is there a way to bypass it that my power doors work?

I would replace it. Go grab one at a junk yard can probably get one super cheap.

My 94 would randomly beep going down the road so I took the speaker out of the chime module. For whatever reason the door locks do not work when the chime box is gone, idk why.

Idk what fixed it, but Ive since reinstalled the chime box and it doesn't beep anymore. Ive resoldered the VIC and replaced the antifreeze level sensor. Also fixed 2 broken wires in the drivers door hinge area. Guess one of those issues was causing the random beeping.

The chime module is tapped into the door unlock and lock and the ignition.

I'm gonna get a buzzer tomorrow also found a jeep that someone put a lot of money into at the junkyard and wrecked it so gonna pull the axles apart and see if I can score a locker lol. The jeep did have a slip yoke eliminater so if they out the money out for one of them maybe it has lockers in it to.
