Possible 46re trans problem 98 5.9 need help ASAP

Hey guys need help my 98 5.9 has quit pulling. It started just after getting gas was going up hill just started bogging tapped throttle a couple of times then died pulled over cranked right up. When taking off acted like it didn't want to shift right hanging in gear. Got to up shift but before got home it was slipping bad less than mile. Got in driveway checked everything fluid clear alittle over full and could bring rpm up and would pop in gear at high rpm but slip. Let cool ee ranked and would pull for a minute foward and reverse then quit. Pulled pan off no chips of metal of clutch material in fluid saw some sparkle in fluid not excessive. Filter looked ok pulled gov pressure sensor and other one beside it looked ok. No codes on snap on scanner could be retrieved. This problem gave no warning was running fine in morning,at lunch, and on way to gas station. Anybody have any ideas? I have read on all sites no problem quite same. Also has roaring noise after got home when not pulling. Could it be transfer case problem with 249. Thanks for any help this is my dd having to rent car for now. Tks! John

Need to confirm the oil level is being check properly . Engine running , operating temp , in neutral . Pump doesn't circulate in park . A properly filled trans would appear over full in park plenty .

Could be electrical . This kit might fix it maybe a gamble . http://www.ebay.com/itm/A500-A518-42...36e2a3&vxp=mtr

Could be mechanical . It only takes one o-ring seal of many to go and leave you inoperative .

Google search "46RE tutorial jeep forum" Baxy has a great pictorial thread on a rebuild . Gives a good understanding of the parts and what works what . Worth a read as you might get some insight to your issue .
