Popping/Binding in front end PLEASE HELP!!!
Whenever I am in any mode of 4wd on my 99 WJ and start climbing a hill i hear a binding/popping noise coming from the front end. I dont think its the transfer case and I have a feeling it might be the front CV driveshaft. I know there is an upgrade kit to the U-joint front and Im wondering if that will cure my problem. This has been going on for weeks now and I need help urgently before it starts to snow up here. Thanks to anybody who can help or tries!!!!!!!

from what i read on this thread http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/need-recommendations-torn-cv-boot-187696/ there isn't one for the WJ...i was dissapointed too

Do all your tires match and have they been rotated properly so they have even wear. I had a similar problem with my grand and that was the problem
