53 foot trailer dwarfs the tractor too, you know... It's all about having the weight in the right places. IE: the towing vehicle, not the trailer so much.

I towed the 21' Chapparal bow rider with my 95 4.0 Orvis, the trailer alone was 840 lbs and the boat with it's i/o v8 and fiberglass hull weighed I forget, but the jeep had a rough time with pulling it up the ramps in hi, low was no problem at all, the trailer had brakes that worked great. Going down the highway was ok with the wind but against wind or upgrade She chugged pretty good and once in a while downhill would get overdrive, all in all the i6 did good, not a speed demon by far but the little jeep that could.
