Plz Help. Fast turn signal. See details.

Ok, so I know that the common reason for a super fast turn signal is because a bulb may be out or going out, but that is definitely not my problem.

The left turn signal only blinks fast when I have the headlights or running lights on, turn them off, it slows down and isn't obnoxious anymore. Turn the lights on and it speeds back up immediately.

I have checked all of my lights, and they're all relatively new, replaced maybe a year or two ago, and the problem still occurred when brand new lights were installed. So what could it be that I can check or fix.

Thank you for any help you provide,

Lance

Lance, you may just need a need relay for the turn signals. Easy to get, easy to install.

Correct bulb number I believe is 1295na. Is that what you installed?

I had the same problem. I installed the correct bulb (1295na) and it worked to fix the fast flasher issue on my 97. The 1295na bulb has a different resistance than the common 1157 bulb found at most auto parts shops.

I just put in the ones required by the Haynes manual, and I am pretty sure it was the 1295a you all said. I will check into the ground but it really is only the drivers side lights and the they generally only get fast with the running lights or headlights on. I will check out the grounds

Thanks,

Lance
