Plug Wires

I'm looking for plug wires to complete the tuneup on the new niner and i was wondering what everyone else is running as a performance wire. I'm looking at a set of 10mm livewires but im thinking that may be extreme overkill.
I'm not to worried about price that much, i just want the best really.

I had the "Firepower" kit on my 4.0 and loved it. The bigger coil and wires and copper tipped cap/rotor made a noticeable difference then my previous OEM tune-up. I imagine it would be even greater on the 5.2

I run MSD wires on both the Orvis and the 5.9 . Never had an issue . I also used them on my 454 Chevelle for 7-8 yrs w/o issue .

are they the 8.5mm ones or just stock replacement ones? because i definitely want to stick to bigger name brands with performance stuff, plus i know msd makes good stuff since thats what goes into my dads drag car

8.5's . If you haven't bought your plugs yet , I'm recomending the Champion dble platinum . Best plug I have ever used yet .

i was just going to use the coppers because i put the double platinums in the 5.2 and it never really ran great, but when i put the coppers back in it ran perfectly

I'm on my 2nd set and got 35K from the first . My MPG's are far greater than reported by other members .

I do run an MSD coil , but , fail to see that changing much . Perf PCM , maybe .

They worked so well for me I have every intention of using them in the Orvis also .

Champion 7436's are what I use

maybe i'll have to give them a second chance then if your having such good results. is the performance pcm in your 5.9?

i'm definitely getting the blaster coil for the niner, ive always wanted one for the 5.2 but never got to it, and ive also wanted a perf pcm for it. hw much was the pcm if you dont mind my asking?

Bought mine gently used from the original owner on SF's . He told me it was the last one available from any dealer at the time . Cost was $300 IIRC .

They do make a difference for sure . Worth the $300 too , however , looking back , I should have gotten a tuner . They are 'suppose' to be better . I can see that after having one on my deisel . I think the tuners are $400+

that was another thought i had had, like an sct tuner from that guy hemifever if i remember correctly. but the sticker shock is the biggest drawback of those. they may be one of the last things i do to it.
I want to build this thing back to a reliable stocker and then start throwing go fast goodies at it, but i figure i might as well go performance tuneup since that going to be on there for a while.
