the rotor should be keyed so that it only goes on one way... at least mine is. if its the cap you are worried about it should be one so that if you are facing the engine from the front the #1 cylinder peg should be toward the front and slightly toward the passenger side of the jeep.
my fault i just realized i dont know what engine you have... the above is true for the 5.2. not sure if its the 4.0 you are workin with.
