These are the headlights i have: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKED-93-98...a17979&vxp=mtr i plasti dipped the edges around the lights, i got them cheaper from a guy ready to move on....but beware like all tinted lights they are darker when the lights come on lol

does the clear coat help the integrity of the painted plasti dip holding up?

finally painted plastidip

Sorry johnny zj, went with camo green...I am going to clear coat and leave the top black. i need to make the top of the vehicle being black more obvious. I attached a photo below. I added a freedom style star too, why the heck not. The green looks brighter in the light and better and smoother in person. Clear coat will make it stronger and glossier. The star pictured her is actually a black star, its just put on with a rubber coating i sprayed on with the decal i made. I actually tried some flex seal i had at the house instead of more plastidip. Flex seal imo has a cooler appearance to it..

You should post more pics, and of course once it's clear coated... I sorta like that star though! Maybe I'll dip one into my hood just for tha hella it. Did you make a cut out to do it?

Yea, ill be sure to post more when i get the clear coat on it. The star i cut out of a cardboard decal. just used an exacto knife after i traced it out. I just googled the freedom star the have on the jeeps now and tried to find the biggest circle object i could. when i take pics later, ill take one of the cardboard cut out.

updated color on top of plastidip!

Decided to switch it up on top of the plastidip and tried royal blue! Switched black "freedom" type star to platinum color (a link to my original jeep color) Pretty happy with results considering its rattle canned.

I second the orange. I've seen a zj on here a few times that's orange and always thought it looked sharp. I can't find it right now though.
