Plasti-dipped my hood

had to cover the paint flaking off and a bit of rust. turned out pretty good.

yea I used a can and a half for the hood and rear license plate area.

Hmm, I might have to give that a shot on my old WJ....The hood is almost completely bare of clearcoat. I've got about a 3" strip going down the center to the jeep emblem and then along the front of the hood. Everything else is gone and the green paint is fading badly.

Looks good.Did mine about 2 weeks ago but it's inverted from yours. I used about a can and a half for the grill, hood, and eyebrows on the headlights.
