Go with the Clayton kit. Very few people seem to need SYEs on their ZJs.

That front 30 is an hp right?

If not, id get one.

Youll have to tell me how those axles hold up to 37's.. Thats a LOT of tire for those axles.

Your axles may have pushed your YJ but that zj is about 5-600 lbs heavier, add all that armor and bull**** those axles get pretty stressed.

You'll burn up ball joint FAST too.

Im not tryin to be a downer man.

I was gonna put 37's on mine but decided on 35's cause it was "safer" -as far as drivetrain components goes.

An 8.8 is a bit stronger than a 44 and I read that 37's would be pushing it.

Just my 2 pennies

I got an XJ HP 30 shell ready for the YJ 30 inners which include 30 spline molly shaft, Eton E locker. Say what you will about the Dana 30 its helded up every well in my YJ. My YJ was 4800lbs running weight with heavy millitary 37's and two peice wheels (150LBS each). Ball joints were never an issue, neither were the wheel/driveline joints. Only thing that I had issues with were hubs wearing out but that only happend when I swapped from my GY 37's on alloys (105lbs) to the GY 37 and HMMWV wheels (150LBS) I still drive it the Rubicon, wheeled it and drive home 1500 miles round trip. Drove to Moab wheeled there for 5 days and drove home round trip 2200 miles. Neither of these two trip was there ever an issue with any part of my jeep. But this is my experiences which may differ from yours its all about how you drive it. This ZJ wont be a heavy rock crawler like the YJ was and it will see alot more pavement then the YJ has. The YJ will be getting one tons and 40+ later on so I can do the heavy rocks again.
