you mean hydraulic steering, and is illegal in most states for street use. i know it is in your listed home state of california.
it offers very little to no steering feedback and feel. pump flow varies with RPM so steering can vary with RPM as well which is not ideal for street use. and in pump failure steering becomes VERY hard in a hydraulic setup, and with a busted hose you loose all steering which is why most states require a mechanical linkage system.
