Would this actually help mpg, or is it just hype?

Do you really believe you could chip the engine to get 70 additional horsepower and "up to 25mpg" increase in fuel economy?

If that were the case, Jeep would have done it at the factory...

not really, but that is why I asked to make sure. I don't care about the hp, just the mpg.

Nobody buys a GC for it's fuel economy.

Tune it up, air up your tires, and drive it like there is an egg under the skinny pedal.
