White Jeep owners --- accessories/upgrades
I'm curious what some of you have done with all white jeeps as far as bumpers and other accessories. Have you gone with chrome or black? I'm curious how aftermarket bumpers will look with an all white jeep.
If you have done some things to yours and have pics, I'd love to see them. Here are some pics of mine for reference: Thinking about a grill guard/bumper upgrade possibly with winch and lights, also a safari roof rack, rock sliders/guards, and then bigger wheels tires. Thinking black steelies with everything else in black but chrome may look better. I just don't want it to look to "bling" if you know what I mean. Would like to see some pictures from the White Jeep crew for reference. Thanks!

Chrome wouldn't necesarily deem your Jeep "blingin'"..
Let's say I were you, and money was somewhat of a consideration, I would probably go 15" steelies with a white ARB Bullbar. You aren't limited to chrome/black, iif you haven't checked out ARB already their products are wonderful. Also, something about 15" chrome wheels with massive rubbers doesn't do me right and so I'd go with the steelies to contrast the white bumper. Matt

With a white Jeep, I'd either stick with all white or white and chrome. White with black makes all the black stuff look "bolt on". Kind of like it was just stuck on there, rather than integrated into the overall design.

i had seen a chrome plater with chromium at jcwhitney.com once for like $25 i think. a chrome dog would look nice sticking out your window.

can't do a 15" wheel...won't fit over the brakes. Chrome looks EXTREMELY ghetto on a white truck, but this doesn't mean you're now limited to black. a machined aluminum wheel, silver painted wheel, or even a wheel with a black/anthracite center with a chrome/stainless/polished lip would look damn fine.
Take the Centerline Convo Pro for example (on sale through centerline for $119 per right now in 16x8) standard polished finish - ![]() black powdercoated centers with polished lip and bolts - (excuse the crappy PS...i'm tired) ![]() Another good looking wheel is the AEZ Namib - ![]() As for brush guard/sliders/whatever, just remember that whatever you get, you can have powdercoated in whatever color you want

I think mainly what I'm looking at is a bullbar, safari rack, and tires/wheels. I sometimes like the white/black contrast but on this jeep, everything is white (With some chrome accents) so I may stick with that. There's just that fine line between good looking and too much. I'm trying to avoid that line. |

I'll have some pics after Jan 18th of my white ZJ with the gold trim removed and basically a black trim theme. The front and rear bumpers will be stock minus the gold trim with black tow hooks up front and a black shackle in the 2" receiver in the rear. It will be lifted 2 1/2" with AR Diamond Black wheels in polished aluminum and 31" BFG MT KMs blackwall. I'll also have black rock rail/nerf bars and clear corners.
We'll see how it looks, I'm curious myself. Phil ![]()

Money...hmmmmm....At 20% interest? Also, I think black works with white in small doses. The black tow hooks look good against the white lower bumper grill. I think the rock sliders will look good but they're getting close to critical mass. What I think doesn't work IMHO is black steelies with white paint. I like them with red and blue, yellow not white. IMHO Phil ![]()

I wish I could go with black steelies because they are cheap, but I agree, they usually don't work against all white.
Would love to see more pics of white jeeps with some of the accessories we've discussed to get ideas. Thanks! |

Go to www.nagca.com and www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums and do a search for Firemedic. He has an all white ZJ.
