PCV Valve question

I checked mine tonight and it seems to be operating okay but it was oily and once i removed it and put it back in it didnt really fit to snug. Is there suppose to be a gasket or anything with this thing because mine just fits in a hole in the valve cover and thats it.

no it just fits real snug in there -- i'd replace it -- i just did mine but be careful when u do because that rubber hose that attatches to it is most likely dry rotted too -- i replaced it too -- we have the same exact jeep

Ive got the pillow cushion ones. Those things are unreal! Almost dangerous on long road trips as you could easily fall asleep in them!
