pcm module

Does the pcm have to be flashed to the new vehicle when changing?

that's a broad question. depends on the source of the replacement. generally speaking, if the donor is of the correct year, engine, drive train, and security, it will work without reprogramming.

so any 5.9 PCM will fit another 5.9 without any hassle? I need a spare one "just in case" as my Mopar one took a dump after standing for two years a while back, that didnt need anything done to it, it was just "plug & play".

as long as it either has the alarm if needed or not, I think thats the only difference.
